2016-17 Skiing is Believing! Introductory Adaptive Cross Country Ski Clinic

Looking for a new challenge? Looking for a new activity to help you stay fit? If you’ve never tried cross country skiing, this winter is the best time to do so! Learn from BC Para-Nordic Team Coach and from former Paralympians. (If you’ve skied before and want to come back to the sport, this invite is for you too!)
Join us on Sunday December 18th and/or Saturday February 11th for an introductory ski clinic.
Cost for the clinic is $25 per para-skier (must be 10 years of age or older). You may bring one guide/support person/family member for free! Included in the fee is ski equipment rental, trail pass and coaching for you and your guide/support person.
Where: Whistler Olympic Park
When: Sunday December 18, 10am to 3pm (not including travel time to/from Vancouver) and Saturday February 11, 10am to 3pm (not including travel time to/from Vancouver).

Minimum mobility standards:
- Wheelchair users: Able to transfer with minimal assistance and have enough upper body strength to move your own bodyweight in a sled. Support staff does not push or tow athletes in our programs.
- Standing skiers: includes Blind/Visually impaired as well as amputees, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, etc. Able to stand and walk at least 400m with or without walking aids such as a cane or crutches but without assistance from another person.
