The Golden Nordic Ski Club is seeking a dynamic and organized individual for the role of General Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Staff management
- Guest services in Chalet
- Chalet management
- Ski program coordination (adult, youth, and school programs)
- Maintenance and care of ski rental fleet
- Reporting as directed by Board
- Event planning and management
- Other responsibilities as requested by Board
The ideal candidate will have experience with outdoor recreation management and Nordic skiing and hold a CANSI level 1 teaching certificate but will consider other applicants who possess great enthusiasm and organizational skills. The Club is prepared to provide training to achieve CANSI Level 1 and/or NCCP Community Coaching certification.
The job is a salaried position from October 1 to May 30. Some weekend work will be required. Pay will be competitive. Accommodation may be available as part of the compensation package.
