On Friday, November 1, ViaSport and the Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development announced the recipients for the fall intake of the Local Sport Program Development (LSPD) fund. 

Three of the 16 grant recipients were cross country ski clubs:

100 Mile Nordics (100 Mile House)               $2000

Nelson Nordic Ski Club (Nelson)                   $2000

Toby Creek Nordic Ski Club (Invermere)      $1700

The next intake for LSPD funding will open January 6, 2014.
